GreenVET4U project aims to enhance the capacity of Vocational Education and Training (VET) providers and private entities to bridge the gap between skills demand and supply. By designing and delivering innovative curricula focused on Skills for Green Jobs, the project seeks to improve the relevance of vocational education to the Ugandan labour market.

To do so, the project has developed an innovative capacity building programme designed to upskill VET practitioners and in-company trainers to be true agents of change in their communities and transfers of excellence in the VET system of Uganda, promoting sustainable and inclusive growth and jobs in the country.

The present Online Platform supports the continuing professional development of VET practitioners and in-company trainers, providing them with access to:

• A Guide on Digital Competencies for Virtual Learning, designed to improve the digital skills of Ugandan VET practitioners and in-company trainers, and facilitate their interaction with virtual learning environments.
• Lessons Plan, a structured set of innovative training contents and practical activities on designing and delivering innovative curricula in skills for Green Jobs in Uganda. This can serve as a blue-print for setting up an ideal training programme.
• A comprehensive set of e-Learning Courses, which covers learning materials designed to assist VET practitioners and in-company trainers to design and deliver innovative curricula in skills for Green Jobs in Uganda on the basis of the Competence Matrix.
